Eric Brouman
Eric Brouman, recently named one of Cleveland's 50 Most Interesting People by Cleveland magazine, is performing at this year's Pride Festival, June 15. Brouman will be performing at the entertainment stage in the Festivals grounds at Pier Park.
His show is filled with magic, music, dancing, special effects, live animals, theatrical masks, costume changes, and plenty of comedy and audience participation.
Brouman has traveled all across the country performing at resorts, casinos, and on national television. He is probably most known in Cleveland for his performances at ⚫ the "Junior Dawg Pound" at Cleveland Municipal Stadium during every Cleveland Browns home game of the 1994-1995 season. Brouman has also opened for such talents as Ben Vereen, Jerry Seinfeld, Debbie Gibson, and has worked with Gloria Estefan.
Clevelanders may also recognize Brouman from when he performed at the gala opening of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and
Museum. He is very proud of being selected as one of the youngest performers of the Magic Castle in Los Angeles, and as one of America's leading corporate magicians.
Although Brouman has many demands on his busy national schedule, he always finds time for volunteer and charity work in the greater Cleveland area. Brouman has spent a lot of time raising funds for Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital and the Achievement Center for Children. He also volunteers his time to "Project Magic," a program at area hospitals that helps patients regain their dexterity through sleight-of-hand. "Who says magicians never reveal their secrets," he laughs.
Another activity that Brouman is quite proud of is his work as a motivational speaker at area high schools. Why does Brouman give so freely of his time and talent? "What more could I ask for? I get to make people smile every day."
